The reason for this is that your subconscious mind understands feelings and reacts toward it. In other words, with feelings you can get in contact with your subconscious mind and command it to do what you want.
I am referring to commands and results of the commands. Examples for commands: You are lazy! You will never be able to make it big. You can’t get everything you want! The result later in life: You can’t get what you want, no matter how hard you try.
The subconscious mind is kind of a super mind. It does fulfil commands given to it. Commands have to be send to the subconscious mind repetitively. The subconscious mind is programmed from early childhood on with repetitive commands that are given by parents, teachers, friends, the media and the environment.
How many repetitions are necessary to change the result of a formerly solidly set command depends on how deeply it is set in the subconscious mind. If a command has been given quite recently, it will be easier to change it in comparison to a command that has been given many years ago and has been repeated often times since it was given the first time. In this case it might take weeks if not months of repetitions of the wanted command to change it.
A once set command given to the subconscious mind can be changed (re-programmed) by repetitively spoken sentences (affirmations) or seeing images both accompanied by the corresponding feeling, plus for some time you have to consciously act upon the new command, until the subconscious mind takes over.
If the result of a command became a habit, it has to be done in the new way willingly and with effort for several weeks until the old habit is overwritten and becomes a new habit.
If a person is constantly unlucky, the unlucky situations were caused by the subconscious mind by having formerly given the repetitive command from the person that he/she is constantly unlucky, accompanied by the feeling that goes with being unlucky. The unlucky person can change being unlucky by repetitive thought and spoken sentences expressing clearly to always be lucky, plus having the feeling of joy corresponding the situation of being lucky.
If a person doesn’t feel good over a relatively long time, the subconscious mind will do everything that this person doesn’t feel good as it has understood the feeling of the person as a command. This situation can be changed by willingly feeling good over a certain period of time.
You can control your feelings with some effort. If you force your face into a smile, after some time you will automatically smile without effort.
You can control your feelings without much effort with the help of a physical sign that you have set as a conditioned stimulus to feel the way you want to feel. You can set up several of those conditioned stimuli, one for each feeling you want to call with the push of the a specific physical sign.

How to be joyful whenever you want You first have to set a stimulus for a certain feeling, which shall become the reaction to that stimulus. If you feel joy, set a sign for it, for example pressing the thumb and the middle finger of your right hand together, which will become the stimulus that you feel joy. Whenever you want to feel joyful, press the thumb and the middle finger together. You might want to do this in the morning after you woke up to start the day joyful.
How to feel good If you want to feel good and calm, for example as you feel when you take a warm bath, get yourself into this situation and set a stimulus, for example by pressing the thumb and the little finger of the right hand. How to become and stay successful in life
If you want to become and stay successful, think back to a situation when you had a success, concentrate on that moment, get the feeling from this previous time of beeing successful and set a stimulus for it. Repeat this stimulus combined with the corresponding feeling of being successful often. After several repetitions over a period of time of several weeks the subconscious mind will start to react toward the feeling of being successful and bring success into your life. Whenever you have a success, strengthen the stimulus of being successful in doing the physical sign that you set for it, combined with the feeling of this new success. This is how to become and stay successful.
How to be focused You might also want to set a conditioned stimulus for being focused. Think back when you have been fully focused doing a certain task, for example reading several pages of a book, studying a certain subject or doing a certain task, get into the feeling of being fully focused and set a physical sign for it. Repeat this physical sign often to condition a stimulus to be focused whenever you need to.
With conditioned stimuli you can call up a good feeling, feeling calm, be successful, be focused or whatever reaction you have combined with a certain stimulus.
These stimuli have to be easily done any time and anywhere. So it is best to press with one finger a part of the body as for example another finger. It should be something that doesn’t attract attention, which you do not want when you are not alone.
