Conversational hypnosis uses a lot of NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming). One aspect of NLP and conversational hypnosis are figurative methods. There are three main figurative methods: visual, auditory, and kinesthetic.
The visual figurative method describes people, who are inclined towards their visual field. These are types of people who are using a lot their visual field. When explaining something to someone who is visual, he most probably will picture it in his mind. When in conversation, a visual person will visualize the content in his head.
The auditory figurative method describes people who are inclined towards their auditory field. These people are using their hearing ability and sounds. They usually listen to words and sounds and relate things with words and sounds. People who are auditory types often say "sounds good" or "I hear what you are saying."
The kinesthetic figurative method describes people who implement their feeling or sense of touch. When talking with someone who is a kinesthetic type, he might say "hold on" when he is asking you to wait.
When you speak and negotiate with business partners or customers, you have to figure out whether they are visual, auditory, or kinaesthetic types. When you figure out what figurative method describes the person, it will be much easier for you to develop rapport with them and subsequently always get what you want.
If you develop rapport with your business partner or customer and a level of trust is established, you build up the conversation from there. Always think of a win-win result, as you want to do long time business with your business partner and you want to have your client come back and buy from you again. Your customer is more likely to buy from you, if he feels confident that you are trustworthy and that your product is good and worth its money. You want to build a long time business relation with your partner and you will want him to be confident that you are a valuable partner for him.
Use this skill also in your private life to always get what you want be it from a men or in a relationship with your partner, friends and family. Do think that no one always wants to give and follow commands. You have to give in return and keep equilibrium of commands and being of service to others.
